Job Description |
Giving students an insight into the life of a barrister over a prolonged period, so that students can understand the challenges and reality of those in practice. Practical tasks will be assigned, e.g. drafting case summaries, conducting legal research, shadowing barristers, meeting with clients, and attending court hearings (observation, taking notes). This could be both in person and remotely. Pupil master will be arranged for students. But in some cases, students may be asked to assist different barristers which allows them to potentially work with a range of counsels and diverse cases. |

If students impress during the 3-month period, and Pantheon wish to retain students as mini-pupils within the pool (and students wish to stay on), students may be contacted beyond the end of the 3-month period for additional work.
