Australia Language and Culture Study Tour (2022/23 Summer)

Colonisation of Australia began when convicts were first transported from Britain and Ireland about 200 years ago. Most of these convicts were poor and illiterate. Today Australia has become one of the world's most successful and prosperous nations. This Study Tour seeks to explore some of the aspects (Landscape, Aboriginal Heritage, Convict History, Governance, Migration and Multiculturalism, and Education) that have contributed to the unique and distinctive culture of Australia.
