All students are required to register ONE FORUM / ROUND TABLE LUNCH OR DINNER ONLY to fulfill the requirement of GEYS1000.
Attendance will not be counted for students arriving 15 minutes after the start time of any event. Please pay attention to the venue of each session.

The College invites distinguished speakers from various professions and disciplines to share on different topics during the College Forums, with the aim of cultivating students’ entrepreneurial spirit and social responsibility. It also provides a platform for students to interact with the speakers and broaden their horizons.

College Forums – Activity III
Guided Tours of the “In Loving Memory of Prof. Lee Hon-ching” Exhibition
Prof. Hon-ching Lee dedicated his life to promoting arts and shared a longstanding bond with CUHK. Over the years, he supported the Chung Chi College, United College, and Wu Yee Sun College in implementing the “Hop Wai Art and Culture Programme”, organizing numerous art exhibitions and workshops to enrich campus arts and cultural experiences. In 2013, he generously donated more than 160 works of modern Chinese calligraphy and painting to the Art Museum, enhancing its collection of modern Chinese art.
To commemorate Prof. Lee (1938–2025) and his longstanding contributions to CUHK’s art education and cultural heritage, the Art Museum is presenting a special exhibition of his donated masterpieces. The exhibition is organized into four themes—Concepts of Ink and Colour, The Power of Line, The Use of Space, and Reminders of Chinese Arts, featuring a selection of 60 works including Li Keran, Song Wenzhi, and Liu Guosong.

Round Table Lunches or Dinners serve as the best occasion for students to mingle with College Master / Associate Master / Dean of General Education / Dean of Students / College Members. This new format aims to encourage students to share their College experience and meet new people, thus strengthening our College communities.
Please submit $100 to the College Office within Office Hour ONE day AFTER you registered for the Round Table Lunch or Dinner. Deposit submitted after the deadline will not be counted. $60 will be refunded after legitimate attendance of the event.
