zen-of-photography-min

Date: 8 Oct
Time: 7:00-9:30pm
Venue: c!ab

Talking about photography, everyone treats that in a haste. Taking photos casually after catching up with friends or upon mesmerizing view on the way for class, we won't pay particular attention to what we have really taken. Even if we post our photos on social media like Instagram and Facebook, they would go beyond our mind sooner or later. Have we really pondered the meaning of photo-taking? Do we enjoy the process? Master Alain Yip once said, photography emphasized feeling and connecting with nature wholeheartedly. Only by blending into the surroundings, we could really enjoy the process of photography.

There has always been a close relationship between photography and art. c!ab cordially invites you to attend the workshop and discover the zen hidden in photography. In the workshop, previous masterpieces of Master Yip would be exhibited, and participants may experience zen photography under the guidance of Master Yip. Zen photography would undoubtedly be an eye-opening experience as well as a learning opportunity for everybody, and throughout which we can catch a glimpse of communication with nature. Taking good photos or not, it would no longer be the key.
