🚣‍♂️ Join our Rowing Challenge with your friend and see how far you can go. Take turns rowing, encourage each other, and enjoy the excitement of working as a team. Whether you're aiming to win or simply trying something new, it's all about having fun and staying active!

Deposit : $100 per team (Refundable after completion of the race)
PE Marks : 5

[In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather, the event will be postponed to 12 Oct 2026 (Mon)]

All WYS students, staff, and alumni are welcome.

Competition Format :
2 participants in a team and are formed by participants themselves.

Rules  :
2 participants form one team to row a total of 1 km on an indoor rowing machine.
Each participant must row at least 200m each turn before another teammate takes over to row.

Example (1) Participant A rows 200m, followed by Participant B to row the remaining 800m
Example (2) Participant A rows 200m, followed by Participant B to row 600m, and then Participant A to row remaining 200m
(Each team shall make decision themselves on the rowing distance for each teammate)

Prizes :
The competition will be divided into Male Group and Female Group (A team consisting of both a male and a female participant belongs to Male Group). The top three fastest teams of each group will be awarded prizes and medals.

Champion: $600 ParknSHOP coupon (per team)
First runner-up: $400 ParknSHOP coupon (per team)
Second runner-up: $200 ParknSHOP coupon (per team)

Each participant will also receive a complimentary café drink (valued at $30) if their team can finish the race within the following target time:

Male Team : 5 mins
Female Team : 6 mins

PE Marks :
To obtain 5 PE marks, participants are required to stay at the College Gallery throughout the event, complete the race and attend the award presentation. Participants are required to register again at the end of the event. Otherwise, no PE marks will be awarded.
