Abstract:

Hong Kong's sports scene offers limited variety, especially in e-sports. This project introduces e-sports to diversify local sports, uncover talent, and advocate for official recognition. Ultimately, it aims to establish e-sports as a new industry, enhancing Hong Kong's competitiveness and broadening opportunities for the community.

Project Progress

The team hosted the CUHK Summer Sim-Racing Championship in mid-May 2025, at the College Gallery. Over 40 participants joined the time trial event, fostering community engagement and raising awareness of sim-racing technology. The event ran smoothly with volunteer support and set a positive precedent for future initiatives.
