RiceFort transforms rice husks into biodegradable, waterproof, and mold-proof fiberboards. By integrating farmers into the value chain, it turns agricultural waste into valuable resources. More affordable than many green alternatives, RiceFort offers a sustainable, non-toxic solution that is both cost-effective and accessible to the wider market.

RiceFort advanced prototype R&D, filed patents in China and Hong Kong, and ran sustainability workshops. A one-day workshop reached 90 students. The team won the 11th HK University Student Innovation Competition and was invited to Indonesia Inventors Day 2025.

RiceFort won silver awards at Indonesia Inventors Day and the China International College Students' Innovation Competition. The team hired 6 SEN interns who produced 49 furniture pieces. In response to the Tai Po fire, the team worked intensively for two weeks to donate 58 furniture pieces to affected residents. Certified testing confirmed product safety and quality. A rice husk table was delivered to Wu Yee Sun College. The team is also developing coasters and souvenirs.
