This project tackles food waste by promoting community acceptance of "ugly fruits." Combining creativity, entrepreneurship, and social impact, it upcycles imperfect produce into products like jams and candles through workshops. By transforming undervalued resources into market value, it provides a replicable model for sustainable consumption and waste reduction.

The team engaged the community through targeted events and media outreach. It kicked off with an interactive workshop in Tai Kok Tsui, where 18 participants made jam from imperfect produce; post-event surveys showed a 100% shift toward positive attitudes regarding ugly fruits. Later in October 2025, a multi-day campus exhibition and workshop at Wu Yee Sun College drew 68 local and international students to transform dried ugly fruit into resin keychains while sharing feedback on an interactive board. Complementing these physical activities, the team launched an Instagram campaign featuring 13 educational posts and a parody reel to reduce food-waste bias and promote fruit preservation.

The College later invited the team to organize a phone strap workshop at c!ab, making use of the creative space, which received positive feedback and student interest in future sessions.
