Eco-hike @ Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve 大埔滘生態遊

Take a walk to see how the earth can cool down!

We all know forest plays an essential in curbing global warming. A recent research1 found that around 0.9 billion hectares (2an area of the size of the US!!) of land worldwide would be suitable for forest restoration, which could ultimately capture two-thirds of human-made carbon emissions.

During the Eco-Hike, leading teacher, Prof. Kwai-cheong Chau, will discuss the health effects of forests to our planet and us; the relationship between forests and climate change; and nature conservation in HK. If you want to know what can we, humans, do in saving our own planet, join us for a walk to see the magic of forests!
